A week 5 challenge about information architecture which consisted in going through the several types of navigation possible and to consider how they could apply to my product.

If you have an account: four buttons consisting of recipes, ingredient swapper, your pantry, account
Using as guest: two buttons consisting of recipes and ingredient swapper
I don’t think this product has enough content to need local information, especially as I am designing this to be a mobile experience and in that context screen real estate is especially important and cannot be wasted.
As it stands, there is no need for local navigation to be nested visibly into the global navigation.
If using the app with an account there will be the option within the initial ingredient search to define your pantry and your specific dietary requirements. Must be sure when pressing “back” from that instance that user navigates back to this screen so that they can return to what they were doing.
