These ended up working more as a guide and discussion prompts and evolved as the interviews progressed, especially in understanding how one topic could more naturally segway into another and adding in questions that could be more relevant to painpoints.
Two out of 3 of the interviews were observational and included a thinkaloud exercise which is at the bottom of this list of questions.
What kind of food storage is available to you at home?
What kind of food do you tend to buy? Why?
How frequently go shopping? / Do you bulk buy?
Do you tend to buy the same food every time? (tell me about the last time you bought a new ingredient, why did you buy it and what happened to it?)
Do you have any food provided for you? (does this affect how you then organise food at home?)
Tell me about how you prepare food (cook? assemble? from scratch? buy ready made stuff? leftovers?)
