Iteration 1: Build + Test Plan
First and foremost, from the title of the week I knew that the content would not be relevant to my current project as I am focusing on a mobile experience. In the interest of time I didn’t consume it and will return to it in the between module break.
This week was about getting my prototype ready and running my usability weeks that have started this week and spill over to next week. I am running on location tests as I want to observe my user interact in the problem context as faithfully as possible - this means that I must cater to my user’s availability and have maximum flexibility on my side as I want to get this iterative show on the road as soon as possible. I am nervous about these tests as I have never ran usability tests before, it is frustrating and uncomfortable to be new and bad at an activity but I am trying to keep in mind that it’s the only way to get better at it too. This is kind of the point of the masters too.
