The act of wireframing meant I had to bring together and organise all the thoughts I had had so far for this product - really face my own music and work through it all. It felt quite pivotal in the project as I properly assembled a product possibility for the first time.
This was the basic idea I was working with as I was focusing on the user problem of:
Paula needs to know what to do with random ingredients / leftovers in her storage so that she can save it from spoiling.

Early on I had this idea that the first real prompt in the product is to add in your ingredients.

I wanted the app to have three ways in which is would suggest solutions once an ingredient had been inputted: I wanted it to to suggest recipes using that ingredient, suggest recipes in which that ingredient could replace another and also show a recipe builder that took the suggested ingredient and generally explained ways in which this could be used to go towards making a salad or a soup for instance.

The recipe builder was proving difficult to figure out, I myself wasn’t sure how to go about visualising this and my gut kept snagging on it somehow.
